The Golden Empire Chapter has selected the following applicants for a $500 grant for the following projects and programs:
- Valley Schools – Student Science Fair
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help – Monarch Butterly Awareness and School Garden
- Ronald Reagan Elementary School – Environmental Engineering for Kids
The Golden Empire Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association has selected the following applicants for a $750 scholarship towards furthering their education in engineering, environmental, or scientific fields
- Gabriel Kirk – Engineering Sciences, California State University Bakersfield
- Alor Sahoo – Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
